- Start: Paddle-and-pedal station Barßel
- Destination: Godensholt rest jetty
From the jetty of the paddle-and-pedal station Barßel, the route leads a short distance through the outlet of the Barßel harbor. At the outlet, turn right. Here follows a passage that lasts about an hour, leading through a dense reed belt with small bays. Shortly before the end of this section there is a rest jetty at the road bridge. At the fork of the Nordloher Canal, continue straight ahead. From here, getting lost is basically no longer possible; the route now follows the Aue-Godensholter-Tief without paddlable branches. After about an hour, an old railway bridge is reached and passed underneath. After another 30 minutes, the destination of the canoe route lies on the left bank, the Godensholt rest jetty.

Safety guidelines
All participants should be able to swim safely.
Alcohol consumption is not allowed on the water either.
Keep distance from other watercrafts. Canoes must always give way and are sometimes poorly seen by motorboat drivers.
Start time must be coordinated with the tide times to avoid paddling against the current.
