Augustfehn station
With the construction of the Oldenburg - Leer railway connection in 1868, Augustfehn received its own train station, which is still there today. It was and is the engine of economic development and has ensured Augustfehn's growth into the lively center of the community since the 19th century. Today the RE and IC trains stop here on the journey between Bremen and Norddeich-Mole.
