Aussichtsplattform Aperberg - Favorite place

This place is dedicated to bird watching. Jörg Ridderbusch has positioned some colorful birds here as an indication of the diversity of the bird world. You sit at the foot of the viewing platform and attract their attention. Your "conspecifics" show the visitors what to do: look out into the depths and observe the birds through the telescope.
During the breeding season in spring, bluethroat, swamp warbler, pond warbler and reed warbler as well as the field owl can be observed here. In addition, the Aper Tief is home to one of the last few inland breeding grounds for the Redshank, which can otherwise only be found on the coast.
