Grain mowing
The historic harvest festival in the Aperberg takes place every year on the 2nd Saturday in August and is organized by the Association for Home and Customs Care, as a reminder of the mowing of grain according to old customs and old harvest forms. Starting at 1 p.m., farmers from Aperberg will be showing in original costumes how the grain has been harvested over the past 200 years. Many machines from this period are also shown. These events serve to promote cultural values.
