Customs post Holtgast
The two replica border huts are in front of the hotel "Zur Schanze" in Holtgast. They point to the fact that there was a customs post in Holtgast, which secured the Oldenburg counts income. Autobahn Abfahrt A28 Apen/Remels Richtung Apen auf K114 "Uplengener Strasse", dann rechts in die "Stahlwerkstrasse" abbiegen, in Augustfehn an der Ampelkreuzung rechts in die "Hauptstrasse" einbiegen. Nach ca. 3 km in Richtung Holtgast befinden sich die Grenzhäuschen an der rechten und linken Straßenseite.
