The diverse Fehnort district of the municipality of Apen is located at the transition from the Ammerland park landscape to the East Frisian Fehn area. On the approximately 3 km long circular trail for young and old, you can playfully discover the Eisenhüttenplatz, towpath, canal and the unique freshwater mudflats ‘Aper Tief’, among other things.
