The route to the nine play stations around the gardener's secret is about 53 kilometers long. The start is at the Wandelhalle in Bad Zwischenahn.

Cycle from Bad Zwischenahn on the node system via nodes 77, 72, 69, 66, 11, 30, 58, 60, 61, 63, 50, 52, 54 to the castle park in Rastede. Through the castle park, it goes on the spoke "Rastede" into the urban area of Oldenburg, where you pass through the typical Oldenburg residential areas Ofenerdiek and Bürgerfelder to reach the city center. In the city center, continue on the spoke "Woldsee" through the Haaren lowlands out of the city to Woldsee. From now on, you can follow the "Art and Culture City Oldenburg" tour to the town center of Bad Zwischenahn. The treasure chest is located at the back entrance of the Wandelhalle.
