  • Start: Car parks golf course or Park der Gärten
A short route around the golf course of the Golfclub am Meer, which is located directly next to the Park der Gärten.

The flight maneuvers at the adjacent glider airfield are worth seeing. Ideally, start the walk at the car park of the Park der Gärten towards the adjacent golf course. From here, proceed along the "Hochzeitspadd" between the grounds of the Park der Gärten and the golf course. Halfway along the route, you will reach the airfield of the Oldenburg-Bad Zwischenahn air sports club. The brave who want to fly along can contact the number 0151 52128544. Flying along is subject to a fee and prices vary according to flight duration. Afterwards, you can watch the action at the stylish 18-hole golf course of the Golfclub am Meer up close. The walking route passes directly by the short course (three-hole layout), where golf students perfect their first swings. So watch out for flying balls! The golf gastronomy with outdoor terrace offers coffee and cake.

Directions & Parking facilities

Exit the A 28 at Bad Zwischenahner Meer and then follow the signs to the Park der Gärten.
Car park on the grounds of the Park der Gärten or on the grounds of the Golfclub am Meer. Both car parks are free of charge.
Take the Deutsche Bahn or the Nordwestbahn to Bad Zwischenahn. From there, take bus line 350 directly to the Park der Gärten.

Safety guidelines

On the grounds of the golf course directly at the short course, there is a risk of being hit by flying golf balls. Please pay attention to the loud call "Fore". If you hear it, it is advisable to duck your head to reduce the target area.
