Wherever you look, you will always discover the lovingly designed gardens on the roadside of the municipality of Apen and theParklandschaft Ammerland.

They are the pride of their owners! All year round there are new flower and blossom dreams that are a feast for the eyes for the viewer. On 3 Sundays between May and July, private garden owners open their gates to the "Open Garden Day". Then interested parties have the opportunity to collect new ideas for their own garden or to get hold of a flower seed. Often there is also the opportunity for a short coffee break and a little chat with like-minded people.
